  Robena, Peter and their family have created a wonderfully welcoming, comfortable and tranquil home minutes from the city. I have stayed at Kensington B&B twice and have had fantastic experiences both times. I travel a lot for work and fun and have stayed at different hotels and airbnb's across Melbourne. None have been able to provide such a friendly, homely experience with luxuriously large and clean rooms, so close to the centre.
  
  I just visited in the middle of winter but the entire house was warm and cosy. The house is set back from the street and was blissfully quiet and peaceful. I stayed in the big double room upstairs and found it perfect, everything was provided. I loved the gorgeous fireplaces and high ceilings.
  
  Public transport was easy, the train station is two minutes away and the trains are very regular but I found it really easy to walk into the city and Queen Victoria Markets - and cooking the wonderful produce in the well-stocked kitchen! There were also delicious breakfast provisions and fresh fruit from the farm to enjoy!
  
  I loved exploring the local area and found some lovely little cafes and great restaurants. The neighbourhood is full of gorgeous streets and feels incredibly friendly.
  
  I would definitely recommend Kensington B&B to families, couples or independent travellers looking for a more personalised, comfortable and ‘real’ Melbourne experience and look forward to visiting again!
